The format

Practice first. Everything else supports it.

Ashtanga Intensive is designed first around personal practice: vinyasa, bandhas, drishti, Ujjayi, alignment, modifications and the internal logic of the Primary Series. Certification is not required to participate.

Pranayama, kriya, Yoga Nidra, workshops, philosophy and meditation are available according to the schedule and your interest. One- and two-week participants may receive a certificate of attendance, but are not eligible for the teacher certification examination. If you complete the full three-week program, you may decide at the end whether to request the examination.

The page now pairs practice footage with students who describe serious study, repeated returns and the difference between an intensive and a yoga holiday.

Current day structure

Serious work in the first half of the day. Phuket afterwards.

We use the same compact daily rhythm as the current in-person teacher training rather than splitting the day into morning and late-afternoon blocks. The exact mix changes with level, package length and the material scheduled that day.

07:30–09:30

Ashtanga practice · Mysore / Led. Duration depends on level.

~10:00

Technique, alignment, adjustment or guided study block.

Late morning

Pranayama or Yoga Nidra, depending on the day.

Midday

Tea break and a short pause.

After break

Optional lecture, philosophy, workshop, Yoga Therapy or additional pranayama.

~15:00–15:30

Most training days finish. Meditation or chanting may be offered on selected days. Exam requirements apply only to participants completing the full three-week teacher-certification track.

Teaching methodology

Art of Adjustment can be part of the Intensive.

One- and two-week participants may join selected adjustment and teaching-methodology sessions when the schedule allows. These sessions are not required for the standard Intensive.

Only participants completing the full three-week Intensive can request the teacher-certification examination. Any certification-specific attendance requirements apply to that three-week track only.

Participation in these sessions, or payment for the examination, does not guarantee teacher certification. Certification is issued only after successful assessment.

Only after the full 3-week Intensive

Teacher certification is an optional examination, not part of the basic Intensive.

One- and two-week participants are not eligible for the teacher certification examination. After completing the full three-week Intensive and attending all required classes, you may assess your readiness and request the final teacher examination.

The examination option costs THB 8,000. A teacher certificate is issued only if the examination is passed successfully. Paying the examination fee does not guarantee certification.

3-week IntensiveTHB 82,000Optional teacher examination+ THB 8,000Total if you choose the examinationTHB 90,000

One- and two-week participants may receive a certificate of attendance for the Intensive. This is different from a teacher certificate. If teacher education is your goal from the beginning, the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training remains the direct route.

What students say

Intensive does not cancel warmth.

The first public review pass already shows a clear pattern: students describe the work as intense, but also safe, attentive and deeply supportive.
