A family practice you can build, repeat and grow.
The parent remains the responsible adult. Each practice unit teaches what to observe, what changes the technique, when not to practise, and then gives a separate guided practice.
Free after registration: Asana, the Cervical Spine practice and bedtime shavasana. 7 days: every video practice, no charge today, then US$9.99/month, cancel anytime.
Technique is learned before repetition. Practice is then adapted by the parent to the child in front of them.
Spine Yogatherapy: context
Studies of children and adolescents associate long screen use with changes in head, neck and spine posture — an association, not proof of a single cause. Structured corrective exercise has improved some posture and function outcomes in studies, although the evidence is uneven.
Family Integrity applies related general principles through a practice system based on the therapeutic work of Dhirendra Brahmachari. The studies do not directly validate the full method or show that it is better than other systems.
Selected research on child posture, screen use and structured corrective exercise.

A progressive breathing pathway: Kapalabhati and its compensating Ujjayi Vyayama 01 come first, then Uddiyana, Agnisara and Nadi Shodhana are introduced step by step rather than forced by age.

Open the AcademyPranayama pathway
Family Integrity introduces breathing and Pranayama gradually. The pathway begins with more accessible foundations — Kapalabhati and its compensating Ujjayi Vyayama 01 — and progresses toward Uddiyana, Agnisara and Nadi Shodhana, with parent guidance, safety information and increasing independence at every step.
Uddiyana Bandha
Family Integrity includes progressive parent guidance for Uddiyana Bandha in Yoga with Children, connecting breath awareness, gentle abdominal control, attention and self-regulation with clear safety and contraindication guidance.
Agnisara Kriya
The progressive Yoga with Children methodology also introduces Agnisara Kriya (Agni Dhauti) with parent guidance on post-exhalation abdominal movement, body awareness, calm control, safety and contraindications.
Nadi Shodhana
Nadi Shodhana is introduced as progressive alternate-nostril breathing for Yoga with Children, with parent guidance on posture, hand coordination, a comfortable 1:2 rhythm without retention, attention, safety and the traditional Ida–Pingala context.
It is a progression that helps a family move from practising together toward greater independence.

Family Integrity is designed for a responsible adult to use with a child. Age labels are approximate starting points, not instructions to progress automatically.
- I am at least 18 and I am the child's parent, legal guardian or an adult authorised to supervise the child.
- I will choose the level according to the individual child's current capacity, attention and comfort, and I understand that I may step back at any time.
- I will personally supervise every practice. I will not force breathing, movement or breath retention, turn retention into a contest, or encourage rapid breathing or hyperventilation.
- I will stop the practice if the child experiences pain, dizziness, distress, unusual shortness of breath or any other concerning symptom, and I will seek qualified medical advice when appropriate.
- I understand that these materials are educational and are not medical diagnosis, treatment, screening or individual healthcare advice. No particular health or performance result is guaranteed.
